Ethics

When you graduate as a health professional you take an oath or pledge of service. This oath requires you to be ethical in your dealings with patients – whether you are in the public-, private-sector or are a practice owner. You need to take note of the ethical considerations as set out by the HPCSA in running your own practice.

Please go through the policy documents on their website. You need to keep all this in mind as crossing the line on some issues can cause a lot of problems for you and your patients.
